OUR BEER
Our focus is on producing approachable and traditional beer styles, including Pale Ales, Pilsner, Kölsch, and more. We strive to create beer that is well-crafted, inclusive, and perfect for sharing with friends. New York State has a wonderful history of beer and brewing, and the Hudson River Valley has become an amazing region for craft beer. Our ingredients are sourced and brewed locally, and we hope to contribute to the rise of craft beer culture throughout the region and our local community.

At a time when so many people have been apart, we were lucky enough to come together to create Wandering Hound. Neighbors met and friendships were formed because of a dog with no regard for property lines.
If it were not for Boomer — the actual Wandering Hound — none of this ever would have happened. He brought us all together on a journey that began in 2020, which feels like yesterday, and also 10 years ago.

THE WANDERING HOUND HAS CONCLUDED HIS TRAVELS
To our dedicated customers and beer lovers - we thank you for your patronage and the good times we shared. Unfortunately, The Wandering Hound is no more. The brewery was tragically lost in a massive fire in May 2023. Fortunately - and most importantly - nobody was injured, and all that was lost were things. However, the hurdles of recreating what was lost proved too costly and time-consuming in the end… and certainly there were some emotional scars from the loss as well.
Our love for beer, for Boomer, for the Hudson Valley, and for each other remains, even if the brewery does not.
To those of you - family, friends, customers, and the odd person who sipped one of our brews by pure happenstance - we thank you all for your support over the last several years on our journey together.
We will - as Boomer always does - keep our head up… and be on the lookout for squirrels.
